Red Cello in the Schools
Ms. Adrianna frequently serves as a coach in several public middle and high school orchestra classrooms across the Bay Area. Sometimes cellists need small group attention to tighten up music for an important concert or to ask questions. Music directors also ask Ms. Adrianna to teach basic posture and position.
Youth Orchestras
Ms. Adrianna has coached students of the Hong Kong Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and the San Jose Youth Symphony. She has also adjudicated for the California Orchestra Directors Association All-State Orchestra auditions.
Lessons for All
Ms. Adrianna guest teaches at the Harmony Project, an El Sistema inspired program that provides daily lessons to low income students. During the pandemic, Ms. Adrianna joined CelloBello – an online platform offering free group lessons to students across the world.
Master Classes
School music directors have also called on Ms. Adrianna as a clinician. She has provided master classes on preparing for student cello auditions. She has also provided a teacher training workshop for the San Ramon Valley School District music teachers about best practices in teaching cello to their orchestra students.
